Who we are

The Drylands Learning and Capacity Building Initiative (DLCI) is a uniquely positioned, highly respected, and influential organization that is known for promoting improved drylands policy and practice.  DLCI builds the capacities of communities, county, and national governments, non-state actors and researchers on a range of critical issues around natural resource management and service delivery. It promotes community voice and advocates for evidence into policy discussions and promotes synergy and strengthens collaboration between main actors in drylands.

DLCI currently provides leadership to various networks and platforms that directly influence key dryland policies and contribute to the promotion of improvement of coordination on dryland issues:
